Wai Mānuka was born to be a premium non-alcoholic beverage, celebrating both Māori and the flavours of New Zealand on a world stage.

Engaging early with Strategy Collective, the boys from Wai Mānuka tasked the team with the creation of their brand with the support of Māori artist and designer Arekatera (Katz) Maihi, of Ngāti Whatua and Ngāpuhi descent.

The design incorporates puhoro, unaunahi and maramataka to illustrate the role of nature in the process of creating Wai Mānuka. It acknowledges the journey of the bees, their relationship with nature and the moon’s many phases that have a powerful influence on the seasons.

The result was a brand deeply connected to Aotearoa that could be launched onto the world stage – and that’s what we’ve done.

Our ongoing partnership with Wāi Mānuka has resulted in a range of marketing and brand initiatives to support the sales of the beverage through it’s own ecommerce store, retail stores, and global distributors.
