We have partnered with Juno Gin since its inception, providing brand identity, website design and development, content production, PR and communications, social media, and digital advertising to scale their offerings along the way.

Building a Brand from Scratch.

Juno Gin entered New Zealand’s premium gin scene in 2017. Founders Dave and Jo, partners in both business and life and true scientists at heart, followed their passion and established their distillery.

Recognizing the importance of building an engaging and relatable brand to foster community, they sought an agency to bring this vision to life. From early financial and strategic planning to creating Juno’s identity, inspired by the Roman goddess, we have been integral to this remarkable journey.

Juno Gin’s brand was a finalist in the Best Design Awards. Each letter in “JUNO” celebrates the goddess herself, prominently displayed atop the bottle, along with Dave and Jo’s initials subtly incorporated into the design.

Seasonal gins have become a staple of Juno’s strategy, with each quarter bringing the release of a new gin that captures the essence of the season. Providing exciting recipe explorations for the Juno team and design challenges for our branding team.

At the start of each year, we begin with a concept and create four uniquely designed bottles. We oversee the design and dispatch of label artwork, photography, and video, generating all assets and strategising advertising and communications to achieve optimal outcomes.

In 2020, the global pandemic prompted businesses to pivot. This shift inspired Juno to create opportunities for local designers to showcase their portfolios by offering them the chance to design one of the four seasonal labels, with successful candidates having their artwork featured on the label, along with financial recognition.

We led the engagement with the creative industry, launching a comprehensive social media campaign and reviewing artist submissions to select finalists. Over five years, the campaign’s success has provided 20 artists with canvas space on their seasonal gins.
